Re-provisioning your EAGLE 3 after moving to a new home

If you move to a new home, you will need to provision your EAGLE 3 to your utility’s meter at the new location.


Follow these steps:

  1. Check if your new utility supports the EAGLE 3.
    • If your region has changed, confirm that your new utility allows your device to connect. You can check the current list of supported utilities here.
  2. Factory reset your EAGLE 3.
  3. Confirm optimal placement of your device for strong Zigbee connectivity.
  4. Contact your utility and request that they provision your device to the new meter.
    • You may also ask them if they can ping your device to confirm connectivity.
  5. Once the meter is provisioned, your EAGLE 3 will automatically connect to it over Zigbee.

Note:

Provisioning may take some time. Ensure your EAGLE 3 is powered on and online while the utility completes the process.
